Video Poker is a beloved game that can be enjoyed in casinos around the world, or in your house on your personal computer, using an Internet account. The rules are absolutely simple and consist of the player attempting to get the highest mixture of cards as you can in order to win cash. On this account it’s much the same as a classic game of poker, without the line of contact with any other players. The game of Video Poker starts when the player inserts credits (whether it is tokens, tickets or cash) into the machine and presses the draw button. A five card hand will then be electronically ‘handed out’ on the screen.

After the bettor has decided on which cards he would like to keep, the player will then press ‘deal’, which will mean that any new cards are dealt if desired. The hand is now finished, with the Electronic Poker machine analyzing the hand to see if it matches any of the winning hands printed on the payment schedule.

Typically, the lowest winning hand on an Electronic Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the prize money growing for each better hand. A common list of winning hands begins with jacks or better, moving on to 2 pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and finally royal flushes. It is obvious that the payout schedule can vary from machine to machine, so that discerning bettors are able to choose the most money-making ones each time.

Once the initial round has completed, the player can either decide to remain on in an attempt to increase their earnings, or they can press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any cash that they may have won. Further, several versions of the game give the gambler a chance to double their winnings, in which case another game is played. There are also differences among specific machines, with some virtual decks having wild cards and other varying characteristics to increase playability.
